What is ottakring?

Ottakring is the 16th district of Vienna, Austria. It is located in the western part of the city and is home to a diverse population of around 105,000 people. The district is historically known as a working-class area with a large number of breweries and industrial factories. Today, it is a multicultural and vibrant neighborhood with a mix of residential and commercial areas. Ottakring is also known for its beautiful parks, such as the Wilhelminenberg Park and the Gallitzinberg forest. The district is well-connected to the rest of the city by public transportation, including several tram and bus lines and the U3 subway line.
