What is kif?

Kif is a traditional cannabis preparation which is commonly used in Morocco, where it is also known as "keef" or "kief". It is made by sifting the trichomes, which are the small sticky crystals that cover the surface of the cannabis plant, through a fine mesh screen. The resulting powder is then usually pressed into small bricks or balls.

Kif is typically consumed by smoking in a pipe, mixed with tobacco or in a water pipe (bong). It is known for being a very potent form of cannabis, with a high concentration of THC. Users often report a strong and intense high, with effects that can last for several hours.

In Morocco, kif has been used for centuries as a traditional medicine and for spiritual purposes. It is also a significant part of the country's cultural heritage, with many people still cultivating and using it today. However, like all forms of cannabis, kif is illegal in many parts of the world and its use may carry legal consequences.
