What is kanbalu?

Kanbalu is a city located in the Sagaing region of Myanmar. It was formerly known as Shwebo and was the birthplace of the Konbaung dynasty, which ruled Myanmar from the late 18th century to the mid-19th century. Kanbalu is a popular tourist destination, known for its historic sites and temples, including the Shwe-taung pagoda and the Shwebo Palace. The city is also renowned for its traditional hand-woven cotton fabrics, which are produced by local artisans using wooden looms. The locals speak a regional dialect of Burmese and the city has a population of around 200,000 people.
