What is asd?

ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects communication, social interaction, and behavior. People with ASD may experience difficulties with communication, social interactions, repetitive behaviors, and sensory processing.

ASD is considered a spectrum disorder because the symptoms and severity can vary widely among individuals. Some individuals with ASD may have excellent language and cognitive abilities, while others may have intellectual disabilities.

The exact causes of ASD are not fully understood, but both genetic and environmental factors are believed to play a role. There is no known cure for ASD, but early intervention and various therapies, including behavioral and occupational therapy, can help individuals with ASD develop the skills they need to live a fulfilling life.
