What is vibuthi?

Vibhuti is a sacred ash that is used in Hinduism and is believed to have spiritual and healing properties. It is made from burning cow dung and other organic materials in a ritualistic manner. The ash is then collected and smeared or sprinkled on the forehead or other parts of the body in order to bring good fortune, purify the mind, and protect the wearer from evil. Vibhuti is also used during puja or worship as an offering to the deity. It is believed that the ash contains the energy of the divine and is a conduit through which blessings can be received. Vibhuti is considered to be a powerful tool for spiritual practice and is widely used in India and other parts of the world by people of all religions.
