What is sheershasana?

Sheershasana, also known as the headstand pose, is a yoga posture where the entire body is balanced upside down on the head, with the palms and forearms providing additional support. It is considered one of the more advanced yoga poses and requires a strong core, good balance, and a steady mind.

The benefits of sheershasana include improved blood circulation to the brain, increased focus and concentration, relief from stress and anxiety, improved digestion and metabolism, and toned arms, shoulders, and abs. However, it is important to practice the pose with caution and under the guidance of a trained yoga teacher to avoid any potential injuries or health issues. Beginners may also start with simpler inversion poses before attempting sheershasana.
