What is pre-cum?

Pre-cum is a clear, slippery fluid that is released by some men before ejaculation. It is produced by the Cowper's gland in the male reproductive system and helps to lubricate the urethra, making it easier for sperm to pass through.

Although pre-cum may contain some sperm, it usually does not contain enough to cause pregnancy. However, it is still possible to become pregnant from pre-cum if the fluid comes into contact with the vagina during sexual activity.

It is important to note that pre-cum can also transmit sexually transmitted infections (STIs), so it is recommended to use a condom or other barrier method to protect against STIs and unintended pregnancy.
