What is octocopter?

An octocopter is a type of drone or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that features eight rotors. The eight rotors are arranged in a symmetrical pattern, with four rotors mounted on the upper part of the frame and four mounted on the lower part. This configuration provides improved stability, maneuverability, and lifting capability compared to quadcopters or other types of drones that use fewer rotors. Octocopters are often used in industrial or commercial applications, such as aerial photography, surveying, mapping, crop monitoring, search and rescue, and transportation of goods. They can also be equipped with a variety of sensors, cameras, and other tools to perform specialized tasks. Octocopters come in different sizes and models, ranging from small consumer-grade drones to large professional-grade devices that can carry heavy payloads and fly for long distances.
