What is kerbango?

Kerbango was a company that was founded in 1999 to create a revolutionary Internet radio receiver. The Kerbango device allowed users to listen to Internet radio without the need for a computer or other Internet-connected device. It featured simple plug-and-play installation and allowed users to access thousands of online radio stations from around the world.

The Kerbango device was designed to be user-friendly and featured a large, easy-to-read LCD display, intuitive controls, and a built-in speaker. It also had the ability to connect to a stereo system or powered speakers for higher-quality sound.

Unfortunately, Kerbango faced financial difficulties and was acquired by 3Com Corporation in 2000. The Kerbango device was eventually discontinued, but its technology and user interface helped pave the way for the development of future Internet radio devices and services.
